Homesearch’s Hailo platform has generated more than 7 million Google impressions and 197,000 consumer clicks since late January, with 3,555 estate agency branches already connected.

AI property search is no longer a future problem for estate agents to plan around. It is a present reality, and the early numbers suggest the gap between agents who are visible in it and those who are not is already opening.
<br>
Homesearch has today announced that its AI listing optimisation platform, Hailo, is now processing 250,000 estate agent listings every day. Since late January, those listings have generated more than 7 million impressions across Google Search and 197,000 clicks from consumers finding properties through AI-assisted and enhanced search results.

3,555 estate agency branches are now connected to Hailo - a figure that has grown from a standing start in a matter of months.
The shift agents can no longer afford to ignore
For years, property search was a two-destination market. Buyers and tenants went to Rightmove. Buyers and tenants went to Zoopla. Agents structured their listings, their budgets and their vendor conversations accordingly.
<br>
That model is not disappearing. But it is no longer the whole story.
<br>
Consumers are now searching for property in fundamentally different ways - asking AI tools specific, detailed, conversational questions about what is available, where, at what price, with what features, near what amenities. The search query 'houses for sale in Bristol' is giving way to something much more nuanced. And the agents whose listings are structured, enriched and readable by AI systems are the ones appearing in those answers.
<br>
The agents whose listings are not? They are increasingly invisible in a channel that is growing every week.

“If AI cannot understand your listings, it cannot recommend them. That is the problem Hailo is built to solve.”

The numbers behind the milestone
Homesearch tracks visibility across traditional search and AI discovery tools through a rolling weekly benchmark. The most recent results show significant movement.
<br>
On Google, query visibility has risen from 68.3% to 76.7%. District visibility has moved from 83.3% to 96.7%, close to full coverage of tracked UK districts.
<br>
On Bing, the growth is more dramatic. Query visibility has jumped from 1.7% to 20.0%. District visibility has risen from 3.3% to 33.3%.
<br>
Beyond traditional search, Homesearch-listed properties have begun appearing across the major AI discovery platforms, including Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI and ChatGPT.
<br>
“We have gone from a standing start to processing 250,000 listings per day, with more than 7 million Google impressions and 197,000 consumer clicks already generated. This is no longer a theory about AI property discovery. It is becoming a measurable channel.”

The instruction conversation that is changing
<br>
Hailo's commercial relevance extends beyond applicant reach. Vendors searching their local market are also beginning to notice which agents and which listings appear when they ask an AI tool about property in their street or postcode.
<br>
Ellwood believes this shift has direct implications for how agents win instructions:
“Consumers are beginning to use search engines and AI tools in more detailed, conversational ways. The future of property search will not only be decided by who has the listings. It will be decided by whose listings are most visible, trusted and understandable to AI.”

“The opportunity is clear. Agents who ensure their listings are visible in AI search are already winning enquiries and instructions that others are missing. Hailo is how they make sure their agency is one of them.”
